The Initiative Berlin - USA

is a non-profit organization whose members share an interest in the German-American relationship.

Our activities are the following: - Activities for members - Programs in Berlin for guests from the USA - Cooperation in the German- American Community Committee

You only have to look at Berlin's history, particularly that of the western half of the city, to understand why it has such a close and vibrant relationship with the United States. This was true until the wall came down and it is still true today. But even good relationships need to be tended to. This is the purpouse of  the Initiative Berlin - USA and its many devoted members : to work hard to make exchanges with Americans possible, in Berlin and in the USA.

So join us today! Relations with our transatlantic partners will remain important even if new generations will need new reasons. We aim to develop these reasons and make them a part of our lives. Our members are the backbone of our success.
